The magic behind

The Focus Chart

So, what exactly is a focus chart? Think of it as your lens's best friend. It helps you understand how your lenses work and ensures your shots turn out the way you want.

If you want to know why you should use a focus chart, check the full blogpost for more information.

Get creative

Customizing the focus chart with your logo or business name not only adds a finishing touch but also enhances its professional appearance. This is particularly advantageous for rental houses managing multiple camera preps.

Bright or dark?

People's preferences vary, so we've created two versions of the focus charts: one with a bright background and the other with a dark background. Both versions maintain the same high quality and performance standards.

If thorough and professional lens testing is crucial for your business, we suggest using the bright variant. It offers higher contrast, which can lead to a slightly improved focus performance.

Our dedication to detail

Every focus chart is meticulously crafted by hand to ensure the utmost quality. With an impressive resolution of 1200 DPI, each intricate detail is captured with precision. The vector-exported PDF format guarantees that no detail will be overlooked when you send it to your nearby print shop.

For in-house printing, we maintain an unwavering commitment to quality. In the realm of top-tier cinema production, dependable tools are indispensable. Our goal is to offer precisely that level of reliability and assurance, without compromising on the quality of our focus charts.

The paper we like to use

We provide two printing options. Our standard size is A1 (594 x 841 mm), available in both paper and 5mm Forex.

For paper prints, we exclusively use 250 g/m2 high-quality matte paper to ensure optimal results. The matte finish eliminates glare from room lights, enhancing focus performance.

Opt for the 5mm Forex option, and you'll get an ultra-high-quality sticker on a sturdy 5mm plastic board. It's a simple way to kickstart your display, and mounting this Focus Chart is a piece of cake.

How we print

We use the highest-quality matte paper, Tecco PM230, for our in-house charts. This 250 g/m2 paper is premium, with a matte finish and a sturdy feel due to its weight.

We also offer a focus chart printed on 5mm Forex board, which is a hard plastic board. No need to purchase a frame, just put tape on the back or put screws through the board and you're good to go!

Additionally, we offer budget-friendly options like our self-print focus charts. This not only supports local businesses but also benefits the environment since we don't need to ship the chart to you.

Shipping & return

We ship all our in-house printed orders in order of purchase.

We'll make sure to securely ship in a sturdy cardboard tube and roll up the focus chart with utmost care to prevent any damage and wrap it in bubble wrap. For the 5mm Forex board, we make sure to pack it in cardboard and bubblewrap.

Our shipments originate from The Netherlands, so please note that shipping costs and import taxes might differ based on your location.

The charts are all printed on-demand, this can result in a longer shipping and processing time.

Every chart we send out undergoes a thorough inspection before shipment. If there are any damages or imperfections, rest assured that getting you a replacement chart is our top priority. You don't need to go through the hassle of returning it.

For more info, we kindly ask you read our return policy.
