DaVinci Resolve Keyboard Shortcuts

Over the years, I’ve built my own custom keyboard layout in DaVinci Resolve — designed to speed things up and keep me in the flow. It’s a mix of the default layout, some Premiere habits, and a few personal tweaks that just make sense for how I work.
Whether you're trimming, jumping through timelines, or grading with nodes, these shortcuts save time on every project.
You can grab my full keyboard shortcut file here (plus a little explainer):
Perfect for editors who want to work faster, or anyone switching from Premiere Pro who misses a few of those classic keys.
Download the shortcut file from the link in your email receipt.
Open DaVinci Resolve.
Go to the top menu and click DaVinci Resolve > Keyboard Customization.
In the customization window, click the three-dot menu (•••) in the top-right corner.
Choose "Import Preset".
Select the downloaded file (it usually ends with
.json) from your downloads folder.Once imported, hit Save and you're ready to go!
That’s it — your new shortcut layout is now active. Happy editing!
